When philanthropy is driven by clarity, empathy, and consistency, it moves beyond temporary goodwill and becomes a force for generational change. That’s the story the Abhay Bhutada Foundation is writing in Maharashtra—through education, culture, and equal access. Whether you’re a student in a rural school or a visitor hoping to learn more about history, the foundation’s initiatives in 2024 and 2025 made sure you didn’t miss out.

Let’s take a closer look at how three different projects—all backed by the Abhay Bhutada Foundation—are helping build a more informed and inspired India.

Shivsrushti Welcomes All with Rs 50 Entry

Making History Inclusive Through Financial Support

In May 2025, Pune’s Shivsrushti theme park introduced an exciting announcement—entry tickets would be just Rs 50 for two whole months, from May 15 to July 15. This wasn’t a marketing gimmick. It was possible because of a Rs 51 lakh donation by the Abhay Bhutada Foundation, which wanted to make sure history wasn't just for the privileged few.

Shivsrushti is not your typical amusement park. Built as a tribute to Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj, it uses holography, 3D mapping, and immersive architecture to offer visitors an emotional, educational journey through the life and legacy of one of India’s greatest leaders.

Sections like Durg Vaibhav, Ranangan, and the Time Machine Theatre are detailed and thoughtful—offering insights into Shivaji Maharaj’s military strategy, leadership, and values. By supporting reduced ticket pricing, the Foundation ensured that school children, families, and history enthusiasts could explore this cultural space without worrying about cost.

Hands-On Learning With STEM Kits

Education Reimagined for Rural Classrooms

A few months earlier, in August 2024, the Abhay Bhutada Foundation joined hands with Sakar Eduskills to strengthen the LearnByDoing initiative. Their goal? To distribute STEM kits to more than 2000 students across eight schools in Pune district.

These schools—located in places like Kelgaon, Bursewadi, and Bahul—don’t usually have access to science labs or modern teaching aids. The kits allowed students to hold, experiment, and learn through microscopes, models, and activities they hadn’t seen before.

Teachers noted that the students started showing more interest in science and math lessons. A Class 7 student spoke about how the kit helped him understand the human body—visually and practically—rather than through rote learning.

This project wasn’t just about gadgets. It was about changing how students feel about learning, and how schools approach teaching science in under-resourced areas.

Scholarships That Open Doors

MVPM and Abhay Bhutada Foundation Honor Bright Maheshwari

Students

The third initiative took place in October 2024, when the Abhay Bhutada Foundation, in collaboration with the Maheshwari Vidya Pracharak Mandal (MVPM), launched a scholarship distribution program. A special ceremony was held in Pune to award 25 students from the Maheshwari community, recognizing both merit and financial need.

  • 10 students received Rs 1 lakh scholarships for academic performance

  • 15 students received Rs 1 lakh based on economic hardship

The selection process was handled transparently—applications opened in July, interviews took place in August, and the final list was published before the award event in October.

For these students, this support meant more than just tuition. It meant relief, encouragement, and belief in their potential.

Not Just Charity, But Structured Impact

A Model of Modern-Day Philanthropy

Abhay Bhutada

What sets the Abhay Bhutada Foundation apart is how thoughtful and strategic its philanthropy is. Each project had a defined target, a clear audience, and measurable outcomes:

  • Making history accessible to tens of thousands through subsidized entry

  • Bringing STEM education to classrooms that needed it most

  • Supporting students who show potential but lack financial support

By doing this, the foundation is helping shape a more equal, educated, and inspired India—without loud announcements or self-promotion. It's about creating real change, not just visibility.

What We Can Learn

Consistency, Access, and Care Lead to Long-Term Results

The success of these three projects isn’t just about numbers. It’s about the approach—where people come first, and plans are built to last.

Whether it’s empowering a student in Kelgaon to explore science or giving a scholarship recipient a chance to pursue higher education, the Abhay Bhutada Foundation is showing us what happens when giving is done with consistency and clarity.
